About Our Plates

  • We make replacement number plates only – not personalised registration numbers.
  • You must own or be authorised to use the registration number.
  • Check all details carefully before ordering – we cannot correct errors after production.

Legal

  • All UK road-legal plates must follow DVLA regulations:
  • Front: white background, black letters | Rear: yellow background, black letters
  • Reflective background, correct spacing & sizing
  • Do not alter or rearrange charactersBreaking these rules may result in fines, registration withdrawal, or MOT failure.
    We may adjust your design to ensure it is legal.

Off-Road Plates

Plates for off-road or private land can be customised freely but cannot be used on UK roads.

  • Proof of Entitlement (ONE):

  • Fleet authorisation letter
  • Email to docs@num8erplates.co.uk or post to us.
    Production starts only after documents are received.

Installation & Warranty

  • Use strong sticky pads or holders; do not use screws
  • Warranty covers defects like lifting or peeling under normal use
  • Incorrect installation voids the warranty
